I created this blog because TV is my passion. I plan on pursuing my career as a TV journalist/columnist/blogger after I graduate from college, and this is the first stop along my path. TV Talk with JWalk is my first true opportunity to display the work that I want to create and display. It gives me the freedom to voice my own opinions and talk what I want to talk about, unlike the rest of the TV work that I am apart of.
TV Talk with JWalk is not the first time I have written/blogged about TV. Over the past 2 years, I have been a Staff Writer for The Daily Orange – Syracuse University’s student-run newspaper – as the contributing writer for “Clicker,” the newspapers TV section. I was also a blogger for The Student Voice – a Syracuse University student-run blog where I was referred to as “The TV Controller”, where I also blogged about TV news and events.
For the past year, I have also been a co-host on the WJPZ-FM (Z89 Radio) entertainment talk show The Red Carpet Report, also covering the latest breaking news in the TV industry.
